These injuries inflicted at a time fueled by alcohol consumption, stoned on pot look serious enough and the police were called in. The aggressor taken away for an interview and charged with public nuisance AND breaking a domestic violence order which the police were the applicants. Now what good will the breach of the order be when the perpetrator of this offence will get off with a slap on the wrist. Obviously not a first offence as the apprehended violence order was in place already. It is of no wonder the person who committed these acts will simply walk free from court with simple probation, but you can guarantee lo and behold that if a male person was to inflict these injuries on a woman he would find his sorry ass in a cell. These injuries were caused by a female to a male person , because the victim is a male does it make these injuries of less importance. Cry a few tears, act docile when your ass is in the fire and it’s blatantly obvious you caused this to another person, you know in Queensland that if you are a woman chances are it’s still going to be the mans fault! How many of these domestic violence groups do you see stand up for men against the bullshit that women do? In every ad you see promoting help for domestic violence the male is ALWAYS portrayed as the aggressor. It is about time women were held just as accountable as men for the actions they do. Stop blaming men and hiding behind the archaic laws that allow a woman to sob and get away with it. Many men are afraid to lay a complaint out of fear of ridicule that a female could to this, shows that size and gender don’t matter. It is high time the law was applied equally, women want to be treated as equals, then cop the punishment meted out that men would get.

Bits n Pieces

While trying to figure out all this new fangled stuff here in WordPress, I found how to make a collage and thought why not post it. Just shows bits and pieces of around my world in the tropics. The big green frog featured was the biggest one I have ever seen, his back foot was longer than a cigarette lighter. Frogs to me are ikky but I was still in awe of his size and we let him go after taking photos.

I ventured into the world of making my own tabouleh and in my biased opinion think my effort was better than the lot you can buy from the shops. Still fiddling with foods, I used wheat germ, honey and natural yogurt to make a face mask….felt good after but there was no disappearing of the dreaded wrinkles.

Included are photos of ACDC and KISS, two of my favorite bands. No matter how old the guys from ACDC are I think they are awesome. The trusty little white go go mobile aka my car when I first got it is also here, gets me from A to B and that’s all that matters. Featured also is Felix and Tikky but you already have seen them two before but the ginger cat is Cooper at Christmas time, he is a beautiful cat and sadly I can’t claim him he belongs to another family.

I still haven’t figured all this out yet but am trying…. am ready to tear my hair out. Have a lovely and peaceful Sunday all.

My blog writing has been moved to wordpress and as I am new here, it will take me a bit to get it all together. There are so many more features at wordpress, one which will enable unwanted comments and words used to be filtered out by customized spam blocker. I just have to tweak them and fine tune this blog. Diary of a Nun and a cute Ass

A visual diary of what has been going on in the last 15 months. Some interesting and some no so especially the first photo. The result of a fight with an industrial fan. Needless to say one does not take the covers off and leave them off any more. This is Flying Fish Point after some heavy rains. I am not sure if you can notice that the sea is actually brown with all the mud and silt being stirred up. Great place for beach combing. After being cooped up in the house during our monsoon season, a drive around our local area to get out and about, we stopped at Paronella Park. The falls were raging and no I did not venture out onto the swinging bridge this time. A beautiful Spanish castle amongst the rain forest and very close to where I live. This little critter found his way into our bathroom. Only noticed he was there due to the croaking sound which was quite loud. He was brown and had these greenish lumps all over his skin. I have never seen a frog such as this before and was quite happy for one of the boys to remove him as frogs are not my favorite things. Here is the cutest ass you will ever see. I got this photo in an email but had to add it simply because it is cute, no other reason. My favorite dish of Asian salad and lamb chops mmmm then polished off a simple lemon cheesecake. Remember the old saying, a minute on the lips, a lifetime on the hips. Oh well life is tough sometimes and I had no hesitation in accepting the above two dishes. Felix still likes to hang his tongue out like a dog, he spent many nights on my bed sleeping and annoying me over the past year but this lovable cat kept me company during some of the darkest days and no matter what he does, including tearing up foam boxes creating an extraordinary mess… he will always be special to me. Last year in the spirit of Halloween, these fake vampire teeth had the boys howling with laughter and also myself. The only time you will see me wearing black lipstick. Can’t wait until next year to do something again, although my effort was very simple it was still a lot of fun.

When animals are culled to aid the survival of an endangered species and the subjects being culled are becoming over populated, one would think it be done as humanely as possible. What of the Harp seals who are slaughtered after three weeks of age.This year will see 275,000 Harp seals killed over a weekly time frame. The hunting of Harp seals is done to prop the fishing industry in as fish stock are dwindling. A pelt from a pup will sell for approx $78 US to places like Norway, China, Finland, Hong Kong, Italy and Russia for fashions and the blubber is sometimes used for oils. These pups are killed in one of three ways, a wooden club that resembles a baseball bat, a hakapic, which is a traditional Norwegian pole and hook device or a firearm which is rarely put to use because of its costs. Quite often seals are still alive for hours after being clubbed and then they are skinned and or pulled onto decks of boats by the hooks. The slaughter of Harp seals is not for the viability of another species, it is not humane. The US has banned Canadian seal products since the early 70s and the European Union has banned the white pelts of baby seals since 1983. Wear a synthetic fur.

Henry Alexander is nothing short of a disgusting piece of shit. This animal raped an 85 year old woman who was in a nursing home, suffering from dementia. Although he pleaded not guilty, he was found guilty by jury trial. How does a 3 year jail sentence, with 2 and a half years suspended, amount to justice. He will spend a paltry 6 months behind bars for what he did to a defenceless aged woman. Mr Alexander was in a position of trust and care, working at the nursing home. The sentencing judge ordered he only spend 6 months in prison due to good character , yeah like what kind of character attacks and rapes anyone let alone an elderly , incapacitated person. Filthy pig should be shot.

Man pregnant!! Wow a break through in technology and science. Women all over the world will rejoice at the prospect of men giving birth and knowing what us females go through. Fanciful thinking of course. The ‘man’ who is reported to be 5 months pregnant, is internally still a woman. Having been born a woman, Thomas Beatie from Oregon has had gender reassignment processes done, is recognised as a man and is legally married to a woman. So for all intents and purposes , Thomas is a man yet has chosen to keep all female reproductive organs . If he wanted a child so bad, why doesnt his ‘wife’ become pregnant and how much of a man does Thomas really intend to be when he wants to look and live like a man , be recognised as a man yet wants to have a child as a woman. The child in years to come will be able to say, “Oh my Dad is really my mum”. How bizarre and stupid. Sex changes and being transgender is one thing He obviously wants it both ways!
